Our craftsmen use traditional methods and as far as possible, original
materials. Missing or damaged fittings are matched by castings from the
original rather than using modern replacements.
All clock movements are completely dismantled before overhauling and
cleaning. Clock-faces, whether painted or gilded, can be fully restored to
their earlier charm.
No shortcuts! Every failing joint is taken apart and re-made. Tack-holes are
filled to ensure firm and strong timber for re-upholstering.
